We wanted to write a song for the Holiday Season that conveyed a message of hope, and maybe, could inspire some happiness and joy after the difficult year we've all been through together. It's based around the simple promise of all that a new year, and a new start can bring, as well as a personal pledge to make this year better than the last. Ultimately, it's a reflection on the things that truly matter.

The beautiful artwork for 'This Year' was drawn by our dear friend, Robert Geronimo, with color added by our friend Josh Werblun. The dove is a literal symbol of "hope", and also happens to be associated closely with Christmas iconography, so the image of a dove flying toward the light of a blue sky through the darkness really appealed to us as a visual representation of this song.

Our wish is that this song brings a smile to your face and hope to your heart in these trying times. Stay safe and well everyone.
